Howdy! The next Lit Lit will be at the Howland Cultural Center on Friday, June 3 from 7-9 PM. We are thrilled that Shaina Loew, author of Elegy for an Appetite and chef/owner of Café Mutton  in Hudson, will be our featured reader this month and sign books!! Advance open mic signups are now closed, but if you arrive by 6:30 you have a good chance of getting a slot! Please see below for further details.

Introducing Lit Lit — a monthly literary open mic series in Beacon, NY. We meet the first Friday of every month at our new space, the Howland Cultural Center.

Lit Lit is all about welcoming writers from every walk of life and every genre, to share their own writing of up to 5 minutes in length. We love you and we want to hear what you’ve been working on.

When we meet in person, proof of full vaccination will be required at the door. You can sign up below for an advance reading spot, but we also save some spots for folks to sign up on the night of the event! Just come by 6:30 and there’s a good chance you’ll get a spot 🙂

Wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks will be available for donation. Proof of vaccine is required at the door.

Come meet the other writers and readers in Beacon! We wanna see you there 😄
